I had the opportunity to attend the 4th Annual RVA Fashion Show at the historic Hippodrome. Renovations in the Hippodrome were noticeable especially with this overhead chandelier with millions and billions of crystals. Pure opulence!!!!
Other than checking out the environment I was there to check out some vibrant rags; a designer that would make me believe their passion. I was looking for a Diamond in the Ruff! The youngest of the designers stole my heart. His designs from his Gridded Organza line are pictured here and his name is Harry Trinh. He is a high school senior at Henrico High School in Richmond, VA.
Trinh says his designs are a clash and bond between humans and their environment. I was in awe of his line and these are just a few examples that I could fetch. But believe you may this Trinh is someone you want to follow! Bravo Trinh, Bravo!!!

Today a blockbuster “Think like a Man” will be hitting movie theatres all across the country. The title I am assuming is advising women to “think” like a man. Really, wow! That is good advice and I know our smart ladies will take it, however some of our men could learn a little on attire from us dapper ladies.
As I have mentioned previously; I love a well-dressed man! So, having said that I just had to throw some examples up to inspire our men to dress like Men!! What makes a man’s attire HAWT to you! Do you think a man’s attitude changes when he dresses better? The models up top have on Giorgio Armani and the model below is wearing Express! Can you say HAWT!! The model below has a Calvin Klein suit on (love it). Toodles and once again this is Shannon, your fashion accessory signing off. Have a great weekend!

The color blue symbolizes youth, spirituality, truth, peace and distance. The color blue was also known to represent the Virgin Mary. You give a person blue iris flowers (pictures to the right) when you want to let a person know that their friendship means the world to you.
I don’t consider myself a “shade person” per say, however I know a good pair when I see them. Here are a few of my favorite blue shades for this season. Above are the Ray-Ban’s and way below are the Louis Vuitton Anemone’s.
My last pick is the blue and white Prada Illusion frames which are BEYOND!! Until tomorrow, Be Blue, Be Bold, Be beautiful!!

Hey my Fashionistas,
Along with looking good you have to budget that wallet or shopping will not always be an enjoyable experience. Thrifting is one of my all time favorites. After I graduated high school I was a big FAN of the FANTASTIC THRIFT on Main St. LOL!! I was so creative looking back then!!
Here in Richmond, VA voters have put the following thrift stores as some of their favorites; Thrift for Life located at 1118 Westbriar Dr., Amvets at 5432 Midlothian Tnpk. and Fan Thrift at 1914 W. Main St. I will be sliding through to see what I think is absolutely BEYOND!
Okay, my fashion accessory of the week is from this new designer I like called Zara, www.zara.com. If you like flowy clothes that still maintain straight lines you are going to like this line. This white blazer with the yellow top is perfect for a sophisticated look and no-nonsense attitude. You are bound to catch everyone’s eyes when the wonder, “Who’s that lady?”
One of the best things to be in life is a boy; it requires no experience but needs some practice to be a good one. -Charles Dudley Warner
Hey this is Shannon and happy Wednesday to you all,
So yesterday I talked about the girls and today I am going to talk about our boys. I like the J. Crew line because it is so fun and it looks as if these boys are having fun in the clothes and not taking them out of their comfort zones. Like all other clothing lines J. Crew is having fun with color and still keeping with its traditional looks. Your little man will surely feel comfortable in any function he has to attend with these cool trends.

Okay, the Love Baby J line was started by a talented women named Jennifer and mother of three in 2008 (and I believe she is expecting another child now too)! Jennifer says her line is committed to creating handmade clothing with the highest quality of textures and trim. I am so glad I found her because this line is absolutely BEYOND! The pictures above are some of my faves but to check out her whole line go to http://lovebabyj.com where she has a whole lot more to pick from. I am in so awe of the line I don’t know what else to say except…ENJOY LOVE BABY J like I am doing!! Until later my loves………
As this Easter day nears anxious ladies will try on dress after dress looking for just the right one. Before you go out aimlessly looking have an inspirational design in mind. Tracy Reese has dressed MichelleObama and continues to be concerned about every dress and every stitch.
I was glancing through her 2012 spring designs and they are beyond!! However her prices are not your average bargain…they can range anywhere from $300.00 on up to $400.00 or more. Well, of course when I think of an alternative I would have to call on my trusty H&M. I found a floral dress that is very girly and cute for Easter and it is only $34.95 and I also found a sky blue dress that is happy as Easter should be; prices at $59.95. I also found some inspirational prints at Tracy Reese that absolutely BEYOND and I had to post them. My accessory pick of the day is going to be a peplum dress and the red one was one of my favorite images that would depict the structure that kept my eye there. The peplums are making a come back hard and I think the ladies are going to love them for the straight lines and flirty waist!!!!
